Tap into a booming environmental market worth billions

Environmental sustainability is a key focus within Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, shaping major national projects and increasing demand for sustainable solutions in waste and water management. The Kingdom is now the world’s largest producer of desalinated water, supplying around 50% of its drinking water through desalination. Under the National Water Strategy 2030, an $80bn investment is planned to strengthen water sustainability and infrastructure. In parallel, government initiatives aim to divert 90% of waste from landfills by 2040 and establish over 1,300 recycling and disposal companies by 2035.

These commitments are creating a strong market for environmental technologies and solutions, attracting international participation and significant business opportunities.

Vision 2030

Saudi’s Vision 2030 is a comprehensive strategic plan initiated under the guidance of King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud and led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. It aims to transform Saudi Arabia into a diversified and dynamic economy by leveraging the country’s inherent strengths, such as its strategic location, investment capacity, and its central role in the Arab and Islamic worlds. The vision is built on the premise of maximizing potential, fostering economic growth, enhancing government efficiency, and improving the quality of life for Saudi citizens.
