Founding and Strategic Partner: MWAN

The National Center for Waste Management (MWAN), established by Council of Ministers Decree No. 457 (April 17, 2019)  as the Regulator of the waste sector in Saudi Arabiawith a mandate that covers all waste streams (except nuclear and military wastes) and emphasizes the promotion of private investment. The New Waste Management Law (Law No. M/3 – August 11, 2021) further confirmed the role of MWAN in leading the national transformation of the waste sector based on circular economy principles.
